How this connection handles data
This service connects your existing Trunkstar portal account to the AI client you choose. It uses your portal roles, enabled features, and customer scope for every request.
Data sent to your AI client
Requested business records, search results, action proposals, and execution results are returned to the connected client. Record fields are filtered to exclude application credentials. Your AI provider handles the returned data under its own policies.
Sign-in and stored records
Your password is forwarded to the Trunkstar authentication service over HTTPS and is not saved by the MCP service. Single sign-on uses a short-lived, single-use exchange code with a private proof. Portal access and refresh credentials are encrypted at rest and are never returned to the AI client.
Connection authorizations last up to 30 days. Access tokens last one hour. Browser sessions last eight hours, and proposals expire for approval after 15 minutes. Proposal and execution records are retained for seven days. Portal credential records expire with their refresh credentials. Client-registration metadata can remain for one year, and rate-limit counters for two minutes.
Business changes
Preparing a proposal does not change Trunkstar business records. You confirm its exact changes in your browser before execution. Invoice previews use Trunkstar’s billing rules; where applicable, the existing tax provider calculates a preview without committing a tax report.
Disconnecting and support
Use the connection-management link returned by the connection tool to disconnect a client. This prevents it from using the connection or executing pending proposals. Completed changes remain in Trunkstar.
